Markham Dentist, Dr. M. Weerasinghe, completed a B.Sc. in biochemistry and microbiology in addition to a specialty in cell and molecular biology at the University of Toronto. In 1995, he graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto. He then completed a dental residency at the University of Rochester and Strong Memorial in 1997.
Dr. M. Weerasinghe favours a preventive, holistic, active and comprehensive approach to family, cosmetic and restorative dentistry. His philosophy is to make dentistry as comfortable as possible for patients of all ages. For the past 22 years, Dr. Migara Weerasinghe has been a Markham dentist and a courtesy associate at the Markham-Stouffville Hospital, dealing with emergency consults and treatments. He is also a clinical dental instructor at the University of Toronto for oral diagnosis in dentistry and Emergency dentistry.
He is a proud member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario. In addition, Dr. Weerasinghe is also a former member of the Chicago Dental Society.
